Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Blue Works HVAC uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What works without optional cookies

The website loads and functions before you make cookie choices. That includes navigation, forms, phone numbers, first-party form submission, and session cookies needed for security or admin login where applicable.

When Google Analytics and/or Google Ads are enabled in site settings, we use Google Consent Mode v2. This is Google's supported way to load measurement tags while respecting your cookie choices.

How it works on this site:

  • Before you choose, Google tags are set to denied for ad storage, analytics storage, ad user data, and ad personalization.
  • The Google tag may still load and send limited, cookieless measurement signals (for example, modeled conversions) until you allow a category.
  • URL passthrough may keep ad click identifiers (such as gclid) in page URLs when ad cookies are denied, so attribution can work without storing ad cookies.
  • Ads data redaction applies when ad storage is denied.
  • When you allow Analytics & measurement, analytics storage is granted for Google Analytics (when configured).
  • When you allow Marketing & advertising, ad storage and related signals are granted for Google Ads.
  • If you reject marketing, use Do Not Sell or Share, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, marketing storage stays denied even if the tag is present.

This means Google tags are not the same as "all cookies on." Optional Google ad and analytics cookies stay off until you allow the matching category, even though the tag may be present for Consent Mode.

3. Opt-in for optional trackers

We use an opt-in model for nonessential technologies. Analytics, advertising, embedded media, review widgets, chat, scheduling, and similar third-party tools do not receive full cookie/storage permission until you accept them through the cookie banner or Cookie Choices in the footer.

We do not use dynamic call-tracking number swapping (such as CallRail) on this site. Phone links work without optional cookies; counting phone-link clicks is part of analytics when that category is allowed.

In U.S. regions outside California, first-party operational analytics (page views and form events sent to our own servers) may run by default. That is separate from Google Consent Mode and separate from marketing cookies. You can turn off first-party analytics in Cookie Choices.

4. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary. Website operation, navigation, forms, consent storage, and first-party form submission.

Analytics & measurement. First-party operational analytics (page views, sessions, form events, phone-click counts) and Google Analytics (gtag.js) when enabled in site settings. Google Analytics uses Consent Mode: the tag may load before you choose; analytics cookies stay off until you allow this category.

Marketing & advertising. Google Ads master tag and thank-you conversion measurement when enabled in site settings. The Google Ads tag uses Consent Mode: the tag may load before you choose; ad cookies and personalized ads stay off until you allow this category. After you submit a service form, the thank-you page may send a Google Ads conversion event. If marketing is not allowed, that event is sent under Consent Mode with storage denied and may be modeled by Google. If marketing is allowed, ad storage is granted for a stronger click-to-conversion match.

Embedded media, reviews & third-party tools. Third-party embeds such as maps, videos, review widgets, chat, scheduling, and CRM-hosted widgets when used on the site.

5. Your choices

You can use Accept all, Reject nonessential, or Manage choices on the cookie banner. You can reopen your choices anytime from Cookie Choices in the site footer.

U.S. residents can also use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the footer to reject nonessential marketing/sale-share tracking.

6. Browser controls

You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some features that depend on optional third-party tools may not be available if those tools are blocked.
